I autocross a Red Devil with a Kawi locally and had problems at our last
event of the season this past weekend and am looking for some suggestions.
The car would only run sporatically uder power, but would idle fine. Under
power the right cylinder would stop firing (left cylinder if the motor was
facing in the right direction). I was thinking an electrical problem
because my exhaust temp on that side would completely drop to "0". If it
was an air leak someplace wouldn't it just run lean on that side? And
sometimes it would be fine, which is really confusing me. Could there be a
crack in the plug wire? Oh, I did change plugs and it made no difference.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
