If any of you want to see some great commentary as well as the rationale for
the dropping of the FA.. etc from the MARRS series go to the ApexSpeed.com
site (you do not have to be a logged in member) and go to the General
Discussion section hit on that and then the thread re the dropping of the
open wheelers--it makes very interesting commentary as does the violent
reactions on the Spec Miata site. If you read around enough of these various
sites you get a better insight into the whole controversy and what it may
mean for all the rest of us open wheel owners in the future. It would appear
that Miatas are trying to control the racing at the regional level at least
in that region.
I found the comments on "business" and "the bottom line" to the region
treasury to be particularly hair raisng. Could our other regions be next?
