Well, OK

I tried to keep it simple but I missed that one.

Normally aspirated, intake and exhaust tuning allowed, any type of fuel
induction.

But yes, I was thinking an experimenters class. But some of that knowledge
could lead us down the path to the next engine for F500. What if with all
the different types of engines that showed up, Polaris, Arctic Cat,
whatever, and none proved to be that much better. Or with the performance
modifications, can't last race length. Unlike drag racing, for road racing
you can't build a grenade motor that only has to last 10 seconds or less.

Then some of the hysteria about what engine to use would go away. Just
think, if Joe Blow (sorry for all the Joe's out there) brought his race
tuned 440 in his car, only to find that even though he shows 100HP on the
dyno, he has less torque and is left behind on the track.

Chuck - I deliberately chose a maximum of 500cc because for the reason you
stated, there is a F1000 class. Lets keep them separate.

Richard
