Why stop there, Richard, maybe FX700 or FX1000?
There is a beatiful new EFI 1000cc 2-stroke twin just introduced by Artic
Cat (Suzuki)
IMHO, F1000 missed about another 15%+ growth potential by not allowing
2-strokes. Dumb da Dumb dum...

Subject: [F500] Faster Engines (maybe)
Date: Sat, 2 Dec 2006 18:02:32 -0600
OK Gang - how about this.
I've been reading all the talk about engines and even trying to stir things
up a bit, but to me, it looks like the current engines will get us along
for
at least 5 years or more and then we can let our children, or for some of
us, grandchildren, worry about it.
Now I know that most, if not all of us owner/operator/drivers, have a bit
of
desire to do something just a little different. I have thought about this
some and I think I have an idea the might work for those who want to tinker
with their engines or who just are not satisfied with running the same
engine that grandma runs in her snowmobile.
Introducing FX500 ! ! ! ! !
What it is - is our standard F500 car with the standard rules and safety
requirements, BUT the engine can be ANY 2 cycle engine 500cc or less but
must use CVT clutch system. Regional class only.
Anything goes on the engine. Must use the same gas that we have to use now.
I can hardly wait to see what some people would drag to the race track.
Richard
