So pretty much all modern snowmobile engines run in the same directional
rotation? And all snowmobiles pretty much have the clutches mounted on
the left side (driver's side ) of the sled? And pretty much all sleds
have the exhaust to the front and intake on the rear? I could have sworn
I saw a KBS F500 with clutches on the right side (passenger side), which
brought up my concern, "Are all these secondary clutches universal in
directional rotation?" I dont want to go and buy a secondary clutch,
only to find out that I bought the "wrong" one. It looks like to me that
the primary clutches would be universal.

As far as I know they are all designed to run in one direction.
They "unload" from the ramps when the engine reverses
and I think it's only spring pressure that prevents it from
upshifting. At the low speeds/power in reverse I don't
think it's a big deal.
