So, the tall tower is the old model that has to be converted to a roller
and the short tower is the new model from the factory that comes as a
roller? Reason I was asking is I just bought a tall tower converted to a
"Hymark" roller , with hard rollers. I havent used it yet, but am going
to put it on and drive the car around the block to see how it acts.
(Little too cool for racing). I got the clutch off ebay for $50
including shipping.

It's my opinion that a "standard" short tower Arctic Cat roller
secondary is about the best bang for the buck. There are
lots of tuning parts avail. for them and they are relatively
cheap and easy to work with. With a Kaw engine I'd
start with a cat yellow spring and a straight ramp in
the 44-46 degree range ( assuming autocross )
The Aaen book would be good to have, it covers
the basics pretty well.
Opinions vary......
