Of course Clair won't tell you if my Zink-Z22 had the front end that his car came with I would be a little faster! But he is correct about spending the $$,$$$.$$, better to save a few extra dollars and buy a newer car, or at least one that already has a Rotax. I could have bought a very fine Raptor that was a Regional Competitive Road Racing car for the price it cost me to put the Rotax in my Zink. Plus it had a fresh paint job!

There is nothing wrong with that car - you will have great fun autocrossing
it

IF, however, you are "driven to win" --- you must remember that the car is
at least 18 years old so it will cost some $$$$ to be competitive. If ya' just
want to go out and have a blast on a weekend autocross course these older
cars are definitely the way to go. I drive a 1989 Raptor that has had some extensive upgrades (probably put more into the car then it is really worth and it isn't pretty). I haven't put the money into updating the roll bars for road
racing since I don't plan to do that.

Remember : Playing is cheap - winning isn't
