The tool you are looking at is for the secondary. There are no bolts to undo
in the secondary (Polaris).  I see that Jeff is offering his used clutch
tool, grab it. As Jeff says, it is rather difficult for one person to
assemble (of disassemble) the clutch without it.

The bolts you are thinking about are in the primary, and no you don't need a
tool for it. Just loosen the bolts evenly and the spring will relax before
the screws are all the way out.

Now getting the spider off the fixed part is another different animal.  You
need the "Grunt" tool, a large vice that is attached to the core of the
earth,  two men and a boy to get it loose.
