I use rivnuts for lots of stuff. However they do not work well when attached directly into fiberglass. They are more suited to brackets or light duty attachments for misc lightweight parts.
I do use them to bolt the side pods to the frame with the rivnut in the frame. Panel nuts are another very viable threaded attachment & are better than rivnuts in my opinion. Thanks ... Them seem to work well. I believe the Speads cars use them here. ----- Original Message ---- From: Steve Moore <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, January 9, 2007 9:26:09 AM Subject: [F500] fasteners I'm sick of replacing DZUS fasteners every season. Has anyone tried anything else ? Pegasus lists a Camloc light duty, but I'm wondering if the vibration will just crack the fiberglass ? Steve -- No virus found in this incoming message.
