Gene, radiator air exits the body from the side pods into the rear of the car aided by the low pressure wake created by the tail and diffuser. We have done a number of cars that exit the rad air in this manner. the body mounts in the same location and is held by overcenter locking latches as seen on sports racers etc. The mirrors are up to you although the pedestal type seem most suited to various configurations and have no big aero penalty. The weight of the prototype body which has been modified etc.is side panels 11 lbs each nose 6 lbs, and the diffuser 8 lbs,the body is cored in the flat areas as well as the diffuser and is constructed of polyester/ e-glass and the core matl. We expect the production bodies to be a tad lighter but it is just short of the max overall length allowed, thanx for asking.

A couple of thoughts.

Where does the radiator cooling air exit the body?
Does the new body key into the current mounting points to keep it attached
to the chassis, or some other way?
How does the weight compare to the current bodies?
What kind of mirrors are you going to put onto it? :-)
