Richard,

Basically, it turned out to be a top end job after the
pto piston shed most of one skirt due to overheating
last August at Hallett(see Photo Gallery page of
kirklandracing.com for a pic). The crankcase was
cracked open and the crank proved to be OK. I'm amazed
that the pto cylinder has 140 psi of compression after
ONLY honing the bores. Tough little motor.
