BTW-----2006 Scott had not had a clean run before the rain fell.  You can only
compare date from the second day in the dry.  In that case he was 'bout 0.3
off if I remember right.  Can't comment on 2006.

Yes, that is correct. Nardin did win the 2004 National by 0.5+ seconds,
but
as I said we look at all Vees not just Nardin. 

BTW and just for the
record, his position in 2005 was 6th, 3.5 seconds
behind, 2006 10th, 4 seconds
off the pace.

have to go back too far to see that Scott Nardin won the
national chamionship
