Thanks for your response..and yes. I have heard from Fran Gary and my own resident engineer Mike Harmuth. Mike gave me the most in-depth info with formulae (math..a four letter word) and Gary and Fran tried to lay it out in simpler terms such as your reply. (radians? I've used radials when flying aircraft but radians????) I think I will just stick with the wheel that is in the car and learn to drive it as it is.

Well, you have to define your terms. :) In either case you will turn the steering wheel the same number of radians to get the same change in spindle angle. A larger steering wheel means you move the rim more linear distance to get that number of radians. More arm motion with less effort for the same spindle angle. Conversely, a smaller steering wheel will require more effort, but require less arm motion. Confused yet?
