Whats a wheel? I learned to fly in REAL airplanes...stick and rudder with no
radio let alone DME. We used to circle the watertowers to read the town
names and IFR stood for I follow railroads. And there you go with math
again. From a 320 (NW) radial to a 030 (NE) in only .1 second seems awfully
fast for the low and slow acft I used to fly ( no Jets)

It's kinda like in the old days when you were supposed
to be able to estimate your distance to the VOR by flying
a 90 degree heading of it's bearing from the aircraft and
timing how long it took to change 5 degrees or 10 degrees
or what-ever-the-hell it was.
So lets see, the left hand is on the 320 radial and you're in a DME arc
eastbound around the ground station and the hand crosses 030 in .1 seconds,
how large is the steering wheel? You'll have to use your own handspeed....
