It's kinda like in the old days when you were supposed
to be able to estimate your distance to the VOR by flying
a 90 degree heading of it's bearing from the aircraft and
timing how long it took to change 5 degrees or 10 degrees
or what-ever-the-hell it was.
So lets see, the left hand is on the 320 radial and you're in a DME arc
eastbound around the ground station and the hand crosses 030 in .1 seconds,
how large is the steering wheel? You'll have to use your own handspeed....
