The Kawi manual has the rpm at full throttle at 7900-8000. That is what
I was quoting. I think mine has been as high as 7k on a fast course. I
idle at about 3k per the manual.

Thanks Lee, You're correct, its for Autocross, the cars not road race legal.
Didn't realize the peak would be that high.
