That's a good assumption Tony.
The hot Yamaha 4 stroke sled is their R-1 bike motor with carbs and a CVT.

I see nothing wrong with proposing 4 stroke alternatives-but there must be realistic expections in terms of cost and added weight.

We may end up with 850# or 900# min weight for all cars to make it fair for the 4-strokes.

I think 4 stroke snowmobile engines will have the same problem; sleds
can't generate anywhere close to the lateral Gs that our cars do.
