Steve,
Jim Elder's approach to the problem is not to sit on his hands and 
bitch. Unlike you, he's been racing this year.  You write your letters 
to the list telling everyone to get out and race yet I haven't seen your 
results for even one of the five races held in Texas this year. I know 
you weren't in Oklahoma which isn't so very far away. The reason I know 
is that Rusty and Jack were there. Unfortunately, that weekend there 
were four National races in the country. Four F500 drivers entered those 
four races. That's not the 2.5 average that Stan says we need to stay a 
_National Class._  Take a spoonful of your own advice and get out and 
race a national race, otherwise it won't matter what kind of promotional 
events are held.
