What's wrong with doing the Runoffs? That has traditionally been THE event
to attract members/racers and compete fot thr national title. Having done
it for three years with average fields of over 30 cars, I can tell you there
was plenty of cars, racers, prospects and attention. I drove my ass off and
the best I could get was sixth (pre-DQ after the "thermostat" incident) You
will only fragment things with too many "big" events.
