Speaking of tires...

I have 3 sets of Hoosier slicks, 19.5 X 6.5 X 10 R25 and 19.5 X
7.5 X 10 R25 take-offs from last year I'd like to sell. Roughly 6-9
runs per tire and about 60-70% of the wear holes left. Always kept
indoors in a dark room.

I have a set of old rains as well. I think they are the 18" size,
though. Came with the car when I bought them. Used once in 6 years.
Not as soft as they used to be, but you can't beat the price and you
know you need the "insurance".

$25 each plus shipping. I will split sets on the slicks, so if you want
4 rears, let me know. Rains go as a set.

Subject: Re: [F500] R35 race tires

Charlie,

After destroying a set of R25As in one session at TMS in May, I
decided to try R35s for the rest of the summer. They have worked great.
They take about a lap more to come in, but are extrememly consistent. I
have run one set for approx 7 short sessions with hardly any decrease in
performance. I will be runnning them from now on whenever the ambient
temp is above 75 degrees.

Thinking about trying R35. Was not fond of the old R33
and have been using R25 and 25A's for years.

I'm sure this has been beaten to death in the past but
I did not pay attention then and cannot access the
archives now.

What can I expect?

TIA,
Charlie
