Has anyone found a more elegant jackshaft CV boot than plastic spray can covers? They worked for years in my car, but while I had everything apart to do the engine swap, I installed rubber automotive boots which looked great until they disintegrated during my first autocross run. The jackshaft runs at 5x road speed plus another factor due to the small wheels, so at my top speed of 62 MPH, it was like ~400 mph in a normal vehicle. The new 493 engine is awesome.
