A question for the collective experience of the F500 community:
I recently purchased an Arctic Cat roller secondary clutch from a seller on
e-bay. I called the seller before the purchase and it is an actual business
(not an individual) with a parts department. What's strange is that the box
that the clutch came in looks like it was factory sealed, but has no Arctic Cat
identification. It just has a small sticker with a bar code, the correct part
#, and "Made in the US". There was no paperwork in the sealed box, and the
clutch was in a green plastic bag closed with a zip tie. The clutch looks new
and has a date of 7/xx/2007 stamped in the cover.
Every time I've bought one of these previously (even from e-bay sellers), the
box always has Arctic Cat branded tape holding it together and paperwork with
the clutch. This makes me wonder if the one I just bought is refurbished or
maybe not genuine Arctic Cat. Any thoughts from the group?
Thanks, Cory
