Do the words "stolen from inventory" come to mind? Years ago I worked for Fairbanks Racing Transmissions and we had a gentleman in the manufacturing dept selling racing torque converters out the back door that were then re-sold as new in a area newspaper until he was caught. This was before eBay. Quite a number of stolen items even including fine arts are sold on eBay so buyer beware. I called the seller before the purchase and it is an actual business (not an individual) with a parts department. What's strange is that the box that the clutch came in looks like it was factory sealed, but has no Arctic Cat identification. It just has a small sticker with a bar code, the correct part #, and "Made in the US". There was no paperwork in the sealed box, and the clutch was in a green plastic bag closed with a zip tie. The clutch looks new and has a date of 7/xx/2007 stamped in the cover.> > Every time I've bought one of these previously (even from e-bay sellers), the box always has Arctic Cat branded tape holding it together and paperwork with the clutch. This makes me wonder if the one I just bought is refurbished or maybe not genuine Arctic Cat. Any thoughts from the group?> > Thanks, Cory > > > ---------------------------------> Pinpoint customers who are looking for what you sell. > _______________________________________________> F500 mailing list - [email protected]> To unsubscribe or change options please visit:> http://f500.org/mailman/listinfo/f500> *** Please, DO NOT send unsubscribe requests to the mailing list! *** _________________________________________________________________ More photos; more messages; more whatever Get MORE with Windows Live Hotmail®.
