I have cinema 4d and maya and marvelous designer and zbrush. But the program that gets me most happy is Facegen. (Though MD is a close second). People can't believe how close you can get to a real person's face. The only problem is finding front and side views of people. I've been searching 'famous mugshots' on Google and just did a funny shot of Prince, Elvis and Frank Sinatra fighting over a twinkie. But I need more faces darn it. Mainly I like to mix faces in Daz to get the look I want. I need more archetypical looks so I can set up my own version of a Skyrim character creation system in Daz. Anyone know any websites or other sources of front and profile shots of faces?
Oh and I know I can alter faces in Facegen. But while it's excellent for getting details, I have a hard time setting up basic looks like 'square jawed superhero' or 'sneaky thief guy'. I want to set up Daz so I have a bunch of presets and models that give me the basic look and then add the facegen face I want for the fine detail. And one more thing. If there's a better way to do this, I'm all ears. Andy -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "FaceGen" group.
