Ed, have you made your proposed change to cleave so that bare words
are promoted to single-word quotations yet? If not, it'd be nice to
keep a version of get-slots around (with a different name, "word-
cleave" maybe) in combinators. { a b c } get-slots is a convenient
shorthand for { [ a ] [ b ] [ c ] } cleave.
