Hi,
Here's a first batch of improvements to the listener running within
emacs:
- Better behaviour of run-factor, including restarts and pop-up in a
separate window (customizable). C-cz shortcut in factor-mode.
- Display of help/see commands (C-ch, C-cs) in a separate help buffer
(type q to restore window configuration), with syntax highlighting.
Probably you'll stumble with some rough edges: please criticize at ease
:)
After thinking a bit, my impression is that we don't need for now a
swank-like protocol to make our emacs listener mode as powerful as slime
(remote connections can be handled by the tty-server in comint-mode). At
any rate, there's many improvements on the front-end that we can made
and reuse later in case the need arises.
Thoughts?
