Hi all, The io.files vocabulary was getting rather big, and even though it was in core, it contained a lot of hooks which were only defined in basis. This seemed like a bad design, so I split it up into a number of smaller vocabularies which are easier to learn and digest than one big vocab:
io.files: File reader and writer streams io.files.info: File and file system meta-data io.files.links: Working with symbolic links io.files.temp: Creating temporary files io.directories: Listing directories, moving files, deleting files, etc io.pathnames: Pathname manipulation The io.paths vocabulary was renamed io.directories.search. Only io.files remains in core now; the rest are in basis. This change reduced boot image size by about 90Kb, and the deployed image size of the bunny demo by about 30Kb.
