I run Factor webapps on a Linode 360. They have 360MB of RAM and this works fine. When linode had smaller options it used to run on those as well. http://tinyvid.tv runs on a Linode 720. The extra ram was needed since Factor spawns a program to transcode videos which is memory hungry. That app also runs fine in that amount of RAM. These apps run inside a Factor instance bootstrapped with -exclude="help ui" to cut down on the image size. I don't know if that makes any memory difference. I run the full listener inside a screen session so all of factor is pretty much available. I hope that gives some idea of memory usage.
