Pull incorporates changes from a remote repository into the current branch.
What happens if you don't have a current branch? I just ran the factor.cmd,
but I am on (no branch). Do I have to merge that stuff into master? The
strangeness here is that I was never on master, which apparently is supposed
to be the default, but it didn't happen for me when I setup Git GUI.

My build failed. The problem is that factor.exe cannot be opened during
linking (LNK1104). factor.cmd ("build-support\factor.cmd") used to work,
and factor.exe is in the root of the working directory, where it was the
last time factor.cmd ran.
