I have one more minor issue:

 

Where is the log file? I have read on some forums that there's a logtarget
directive in jail.local (e.g. logtarget = /var/log/fail2ban.log)

 

My jail.local doesn't have this directive. Adding it makes no difference.
Perhaps the latest version of fail2ban handles logging differently. I have
noticed entries in /var/log/messages.

 

Does log2ban no longer have its own logfile? If it still does, how do I
enable it?

 

CentOS release 6.7 (Final)

Fail2ban 0.9.2-1.el6
