Dear Christophe, Please use build-server's current version:
zypper ar http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/security/openSUSE_Leap_42.1 security zypper in -f -r security fail2ban After installing the package it should be enough to set the backend in the jail.local and change the related jails. I don't use journald at the moment therefore I can not simply test it: but please keep me up to date if you get fail2ban running with this package.
