One of the problems with mantra selling is that it is inevitable that
someone will get a mantra that's antithetical to their life. Some TM
mantras, if the yogic traditions is correct, can induce poverty. But
clearly they can cause a lot more problems than that.

Ultra-Orthodox TM'ers will find it hard to understand, but indeed
sometimes stopping doing these ishta-bijas is the best method to get
your life back.

Diagnosis: ishta-mantra overdose with possible misprescribed mantra.

-----Ah yeah, as a secret mantrayanist I actually have pretty much the whole of the mantra universe figured out. My TM mantra is the yoni mantra.  I'm all for it. It rocks. But yeah, it didn't bring any wealth. I had to go to the source for that. Now, I'm a Shakta plain and not very simple.  Anybody like Kaiser Chiefs yet?
