Yea, same with me. Over the years I have looked for corroborating evidence of some of his main premises. You find some of the same ideas with Steiner and others. First time I read it, it really shook me up. Especially the notions on sex. Once I accepted that I was a pretty active sexual animal, I could digest it more easily. I've enjoyed his other books as well.
