Alex Alex good for you and I'm sure attorneys are making a "killing" on this very subject. How could anybody do anything but agree with you that If Terri had signed a living will asking to be starved it would have been carried out years ago? But she didn't, did she? And many suspect the motives of Michael Schiavo in saying she didn't want to live like that and would want to die. Her parents claim that they have heard her say she wants to live and others, care takers, claim up until just a few years ago she used to say individual words often. One of the real crimes here is that Michael Schiavo has denied her any kind of therapy to rehabilitate her from the get go. He has been heard by his first x girl friend saying "that woman has ruined his life." Many people that have worked in the hospices that Terri has been in over the years have heard him make remarks out of frustration like "when is she going to die?" and also refer to Terri as a bitch. How can anybody take his word for anything? This guy is no better than Scott Peterson and should have no power over anybody's life. This isn't to mention that he abandoned her and now has a common law wife with a couple of children by her. Whether you believe Terri should die or not Michael Schiavo should have absolutely no say  so in it.
