Illegal drugs cause far less permanent brain damage than alcohol. The stereotype of the brain-damaged ex-hippie is a myth. It would be virtually impossible to match the damage caused by a single-night’s moderate dose of alcohol.I have a few of those too. Some not so moderate. But I lost interest in booze very quickly. I wanted to wake up, not dull out.
