The VERY noisy impact driver is the best. 
Makita and DeWalt very good and will do most anything, just not as 
fast as impact driver.. But sounds like you should buy 'Bad Dog 
drill bits'. Costly but last a lifetime. Don't melt (dull) when hot. 
Drill through most anything.
