I doubt they wanted him to sign a pledge that stated MMY was his guru. But I'm sure they wanted him to sign a contract that put him on the short end of a financial arrangement and also severally restricted or curtailed any ayurvedic activity outside of the TMO. I saw Dr. Ladd when he came to Ffld in the mid 80's.
