I make a lot of purchases from India. I always have used my VISA card, thru secure servers, with no problems whatsoever.
Until the last month. My card was refused. I was puzzled as there were no issues on my end. Today another India purchase was declined and it seemed clear something wasn't right. I contacted my bank. They said that India has been added to the list of blocked countries. No purchases whatsoever can be made via them to the entire country. The reason: massive fraud via India. If you want to purchase via India, the purchase will have to be via a server or account that is not listed in India.
