If we wouldn't make sense out of reality, we would perceive just chaos. I couldn't perceive a table without a sense-making faculty of the mind. Even animals make sense of reality and attach labels to different entities. My sister's lovely dog can pretty well discriminate me from my sister. For that to happen she must have attached different labels on us. But it is true that attaching rigid labels on more abstract issues than a table kills the inner growth and transformation. We should remain open to questioning our basic assumptions or at least observing them as such. And that is usually the most difficult thing to do: not to be so sure of the beautiful dreams and beliefs we cherish in our heart. And I find it very advisable to not conceptualise or draw too many sure conclusions of observations on the subtlest level of subjective experiencing. There I don't allow the conceptualising mind to function too much and just feel and observe the mystery of life. Usually a deeper understanding of the phenomenon appears with time. And that too is conceptualising, even if it has happened on a deeper subconscious level of the mind.
