The campfire both protects the tribe and destroys
its environment. The Sun originally created the Earth, sustains it and its life,
and will eventually destroy it all. The black-hole core of our galaxy is just
as responsible for creating the Milky Way and holding it together as it is for
eating it alive. (How am I doing? [Am I recognizing/establishing
dualism here, or obliterating it?]) Capitalism both creates/produces/distributes
resources to support life, AND destroys resources. So…would the universe have it any other
way? Apparently not, so long as the latter is in the name of the former; the
directive (at least for life) would appear to suggest being as efficient as
possible. -Mark To subscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/ and click 'Join This Group!' Yahoo! Groups Links
