You can bet that the majority of course attendees were there not out of real intention to follow through on the ridiculous plans but rather because they wanted all the face time with Maharishi, and it sounds like they probably got that to satisfaction. That group would be perfectly willing to forego the promised salary and all of that just to know that they got to be in direct contact with Maharishi for so many hours toward the end of his life.
