Kirk Bernhardt was in my pod. Though everyone had prearranged that this pod would be a "quiet" building, Kirk took it upon himself to fill the whole building with his super-loud music from downstairs. He was generally despised in the pod.
I once sat near him at lunch when he explained his philosophy. "At an early age, I learned that the only thing I was good at was being obnoxious. I decided that I'd just make it my plan for life."
