Ironic that Guru Dev Shiva, gave rise to Maharishi Mahesh Rudra.

I agree with the sentiments and logic expressed below. Only MMY
doesn't plan at all - he seems to just react spontaneously to gut
feelings. The plan emerges from one such reaction to another but it
unfolds "unthinkingly". He can't logically justify decisions. So he
hears Blair was re-elected and without bothering to discover the true
facts he acts upon an intuition. The history of the Movement is a
succession of projects started then abandoned in such confusing
fashion.

Now it may be that even the "failures" served some unfathomable
purpose - spread some seeds about, disciplined his followers, slowed
down the pace of transformation, whatever. And it may be that at some
future point the "pattern" resulting from all this multitasking will
become apparent or at least begin to yield results approximating the
exalted claims made by the TMO, but so far this has not happened.
Moreover he could have "reacted", in many instances, with more
graciousness and caring - compassion - for people affected by such
decisions. Take the Blair affair - he vented his anger against
Britain but never even paused to consider, let alone express
something appropriate to say to, the thousands of decent ordinary
meditators in that country who will in the process be completely
abandoned and undeservedly "punished". Even in a commercial business
when redundancies become necessary it is important to address the
impact on the workforce, on the human level. For MMY we are too
literally "just pawns". It then becomes impossible to distinguish his
hunches and behaviour from that of someone who is insensitive,
uneducated, amoral or even.. insane!
