Ah, but he was talking about "your" as in "you Iraqis." Buttering up the mad dictator by speaking directly to him about the courage of his people as though he was the embodiment of it is certainly a good way to make brownie points with said mad dictator. And I don't think that Galloway speaks a single word without considering its impact. When he was castigating the Senators at the hearing, he used "you" several times concerning "your support of this, that, etc." The Democratic Senator reminded him that he was against "this, that, etc.," and Galloway shot back with "I was referring to the Senate in general." Either he stuck his foot in his mouth again, and managed to brilliantly recall his previous double-speak to Saddam, or he knew from the start that the Democratic Senator wasn't subject to the criticsm, and set the guy up to harken back to his much-maligned Saddam speech.
