Hewlett-Parkard used matrix management and everyone who was there at the
time was happy with it. We tried it at our company but it failed
because we had the wrong group structures to make it work. To me,
"laissez faire capitalism" introduces too much entropy into the system.
Well we can hope we don't see any great cataclysm but a cataclysm could
also well be living under a tyranny.
