yes, the statement about Eastwood's motives being 'pure greed' was 
an overstatement. However equating him with other rich republicans 
is accurate. He is a supporter of Gov. Arnold's policies, including 
the recent effort to chop the pensions of firefighters, police and 
teachers.

On the other hand, your statement about his motives regarding this 
land deal sounds to me a little altruistic on Eastwood's behalf. 
Please let me know once the hotel is built how many nights you plan 
to stay there. The three hotels adjoining the property offer their 
rooms starting at $505-705 per night, not including a round of 
golf...just a reasonable return on investment? I disagree.
