Judy,

Good points about this issue, but still, I mean, come on, everyone
gets ice formations on their downspouts, but, awhoa, the rich folks
gotta have them worshipped or feel like they've snubbed
Shiva-r-sumptin'? (I am all for lingam worship as legitimate
spirituality for Hindus BTW....don't do it myself though -- not that
there's anything wrong with it -- ;-) -- ....after all, compared to
Shiva all men are yinnys, and could use a good yangy thrust up their
Sushumnas, eh?)

Again, right on about the use of the Christian symbol for politics
being an outrage -- I'd put it right up there with Hitler's use of the
Swastika. And right on about allowing rich folks, too, to have
religious freedom, and who is anyone to judge such, but something is
grinding gears somewhere inside me -- just me probably.

Hey, merry joy joy whatever to ya.
