Of course, I've thought about it. I'm the one who sees a conspiracy under
every bed, according to Judy. I believe that Naomi Klein is dead right with
her Shock Doctrine, and a dictator in Pakistan is just what the shock doctor
ordered, certainly not a democracy. I'll ask my Pakistani friends what they
think and I'll report back.

IMO, Bhutto knew that her life was in danger by going back to
Pakistan. However, she felt the call to do her duty to her country.
We should honor her for taking the courage to do what is right in the
circumstances. It is unfortunate that she was not able to realize her
dreams to democratize Pakistan.
