What I wonder is, how *would* such people date?

If a teacher's whole world revolves around the
organization the teacher has created, how does
he or she meet other people? Hows do they spend
enough time with others to tell whether they want
to commit to the relationship?

How would you write the classified ad?

"Single Indian male, mid-40s, financially secure,
self-realized, seeks spiritually inclined female for
hot sex during off hours."

Could be a specialized market for matchmakers.

Maybe the key is to graduate one's students. That's
the ethical way conventional teachers do it. Wait until
your student is no longer your student before you ask
her out.
