I have absolutely no doubt that he was in the highest possible state 
of consciousness.

But that doesn't mean that as a fully enlightened man he couldn't 
screw things up from an organisational point-of-view.

The fact that he could makes enlighenment for the common man like 
myself all that more exciting and possible...
